My story 📖
With a background in architecture and finance, I bring a unique perspective to my work. Through my 5-year tenure as an architect, I developed a deep appreciation for human-centered design, while my finance background has honed my understanding of business drivers. My diverse experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of how to balance utilitarian and aesthetic aims in UX, creating a harmonious relationship between users and businesses.
My interest in improving people's quality of life began in architecture, where I recognized the impact of our physical and digital surroundings. As a result, my approach to UX is user-focused, empathetic, and thoughtful.
I have a keen eye for the bigger picture. In finance, I learnt how to deliver a product with a larger aim in mind. Similarly in UX, I thrive on juggling several moving parts to ensure that none of them are mismatched, and effectively working together towards the same goal.
As a bilingual speaker, having lived in New Zealand, Taiwan, and Australia, I have gained valuable insights into diverse cultures, broadening my perspective and ability to bring unique insights into my UX designs.
With my creativity and knowledge, I approach the design process thoughtfully, aiming to create end-to-end customer experiences that are intentional and effective. I look forward to bringing my diverse range of skills to my work as a UX designer.
